The following are the founding members of Career MasterMinds.

	Cody McKibben CMM co-founder, Sac State graduate, and experienced blogger. Cody is passionate about green business, entrepreneurship, web 2.0 social communities, networking, and innovation. His 5-year plan includes attending Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and start his own company, and his dream is to one day be known as a catalyst, instigator, connector, and enabler.
	Steve Gorlick A graduate of UC Santa Cruz and skilled accountant for a prestigious forensic firm in San Francisco. One of CMM's co-founders.
	Paul Dickey Has worked for E*trade and traveled across the world. Active leader of many student organizations at Sacramento State, such as the Financial Management Association and Toastmasters Leadership Club. Paul is motivated by helping others achieve success, and he hopes to one day earn the Nobel Peace Prize for improving the world in which we live.
	Robb Scovill Business student and established photography, design, and IT pro in Southern California.
	Lauren Kelly A talented real estate professional, Lauren also owns her own marketing business and enjoys creating graphics and materials that help people promote themselves and their businesses. She is passionate to increase her knowledge of business planning strategies, and improve her goal planning.
	John Carey A Communication Studies student at California State University, Sacramento (Sac State). John is passionate about human development and helping individuals, groups, and organizations reach their greatest potential. He wishes to be a catalyst for a significant positive change in human history, and would like to one day be a philanthropist.

If you’re a student or recent graduate motivated to continue learning and developing well beyond college and into your professional life…if you're determined to be successful in business and leadership…Career MasterMinds (CMM) is the group for you! We follow in the footsteps of many of the most successful individuals...

Our organizational philosophy is based on the ideas of past & present leaders like Benjamin Franklin, Andrew Carnegie, Charles M. Schwab, Napoleon Hill, and Tom Peters. Our group is open to college students and young professionals. We meet weekly to provide peer mentoring, informal education and career guidance, support for your goal-setting, and feedback on your personal and professional development efforts, because a group of people that tackles a challenge often yields greater results than the individual can!

Career MasterMinds serves as a personal “board of directors” for each of our members. Together we create the Master Mind…and we harness team synergy to overcome personal and professional challenges, build leadership qualities, and share career knowledge with each other.

Above all, we meet to have fun and find like-minded friends that are goal-oriented and motivated to succeed in business and reach for their dreams! We usually meet for 2 hours in a casual coffee shop atmosphere, with a willingness to share and learn. Vision
A world in which generation Y and Z professionals are empowered with the ambition and interpersonal communication skills to be innovative business and government leaders. We will continue to learn and grow professionally, find balance, and do meaningful work that makes a difference!

Mission
We are a grassroots group of young students and professionals who help empower each other through the college-to-career transition and beyond, serve as a support network, offer opportunities for leadership and coaching, and provide a platform for continued learning about career development and achievement of success.

Values
Each member commits to the following guiding principles:

Harmony. You bring your enthusiasm for success to the table in order to cooperate in a spirit of harmony, confidentiality, and mutual respect. We don't dominate; we share time. Complaining and negating anyone else's ideas is not productive. Instead we constantly seek constructive, win-win solutions. This is a mutually-supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can bounce ideas off of the group and get valuable feedback from people who want to see you succeed.

Responsibility. You have an important contribution to make, and will therefore share in group ownership and take a share of leadership responsibilities. Through sharing these responsibilities, we will gain increased self-mastery and leadership skills as we support and coach each other.

Collaboration. Through group synergy we make more happen in two hours than we could accomplish alone, because we all agree to putting focus and energy into the cause of learning and teaching through engaging informal presentations, group discussions, hands-on exercises, and more. Your participation and ideas are welcome and necessary.

Ambition. We value aggressive goal-setting, and your chances of reaching your goals will be dramatically increased, as the group will brainstorm solutions and next actions to help you tackle challenges. The group will hold you accountable to your goals and help cheer you on to great accomplishment.

Building lasting relationships. You will have the support and encouragement of a network of people to help move your career and personal projects forward. Your strong network will always be a key to your individual success, and we plan to help you build connections that will last for years to come. You must invest yourself in other members of the group and be willing to leverage your personal resources to benefit the group. The only way to add value in a relationship is to know what your partners consider valuable and make regular deposits to the relationship bank account.
